To enhance your banking experience, we have upgraded our legacy Peoples Southern Bank offices to a new and improved River Bank & Trust operating system. As mentioned in previous communications, the upgrade will provide improved online and mobile banking features and more mobile app and debit card capabilities.

Please read the following information. Below you will find instructions and important information.

DEBIT CARDS
If you are a current debit card user, your first debit card transaction on or after Monday, March 25th must be a PIN based transaction. Any signature transactions will be declined until a PIN transaction is completed. You may complete a PIN based transaction at an ATM or at the point of sale. Simply conduct your transaction as you normally would and enter the same PIN number you normally use.

ONLINE BANKING & MOBILE BANKING
On Tuesday, March 26th at approximately noon, you will be able to access the new Online Banking by visiting our website. You must complete an initial online banking login. Click here for detailed instructions on how to complete your initial online banking log in.

The app you currently have is no longer in service. The new app is available for download. Please note that you must complete your initial online banking log in before you download the new app.

BILL PAY & INTERNAL TRANSFERS
Scheduled internal transfers between accounts should carry over. We recommend that you check this information once you have completed your initial online banking log in.

TELEPHONE BANKING
On Tuesday, March 26th, you will use a new telephone banking number. The new number is 866-204-7487. When you call the new number for the first time, you will be prompted to create a new PIN.

BANK STATEMENTS
All checking and savings customers will have a statement generated on March 24th. No monthly service charge will be assessed for these statements. After this one-time event, your normal statement cycle will resume. Interest bearing accounts will be credited the accrued interest through March 24th. The accrued interest for the remainder of March will be credited at the end of the month (or your next statement cycle).

All e-statement statement users will be e-statement users after the system upgrade, but you will need to reaccept the terms and conditions for each account after you’ve completed your initial online banking log in. Once terms and conditions have been accepted, you will receive e-statements within online banking.

We expect to have the last 12 months of bank statements available within the new online banking within the next three weeks. If you need access before then, please contact us at 205-755-2240 to request them.
