River Bank & Trust was founded with a mission to provide our communities with a locally owned and locally managed financial institution that keeps decision-making close to home and reinvests in the neighbors and businesses served.
In 2006, a group of dedicated business and community leaders came together, raising nearly $25 million from family, friends, and neighbors to establish River Bank & Trust. We opened our first locations in Prattville, Montgomery, and Wetumpka, Alabama. From day one, we set out to do banking differently—offering personal attention, genuine hospitality, and local expertise.
