Jason Davis Promoted to River Bank & Trust's Chief Financial Officer
River Bank & Trust's Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Stubbs is pleased to announce Jason Davis's promotion to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Kenneth Givens, who retired in June. In 2017, Davis joined the bank as Controller, reporting to Givens and preparing for the CFO role.
"With Jason's combination of education and accounting experience, as well as his knowledge of the scope and complexity of our financial operations, I, along with our Board of Directors, have complete confidence in his ability as our Chief Financial Officer," says Stubbs.
Davis, the 2014 Alabama Banking School class valedictorian, graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2000. He continued to Auburn University's graduate school, earning his Masters of Accountancy in 2001. The same year, Davis obtained his Certified Public Accountant certificate. Before joining River Bank & Trust, he held a 15-year tenure at Jackson Thornton, managing the accounting firm's financial institution engagements. Davis serves as a board member of the Autauga Education Foundation and Habitat for Humanity of Autauga and Chilton Counties. He and his wife Brianna reside in Prattville, Alabama, with their four children, Evan, Parker, Emma, and Sadie.
"I'm excited and prepared for the opportunity," says Davis. "We have an amazing bank! I look forward to doing my part in producing the financial results our shareholders have come to expect."
