Jennifer Self Joins Ashton Dement at River Bank & Trust
Decatur, Alabama: Decatur Market President Ashton Dement is pleased to announce that Jennifer Self has joined River Bank & Trust as Vice President. Earlier this month, the bank opened a loan production office at 254 Moulton Street, extending its northern footprint and establishing its nineteenth location. During her 29-year career, Self has amassed a wealth of financial experience assisting the Decatur community as a trusted local banker and friend.
"As River Bank & Trust enters the Decatur market, a top priority is building a team of locally respected bankers who are hospitable, experienced, and committed to our community," says Dement. "Jennifer possesses all of these qualities, making her an outstanding addition to our team."
A Decatur High School graduate, Jennifer earned a hospitality management degree from the University of Alabama. She is a member of the Decatur Women's Chamber of Commerce and Decatur Morgan Hospital Guild. The past American Cancer Society board member has served as a volunteer for Morgan County United Way and Decatur Chamber of Commerce's TRC Campaign. Jennifer has been married to Allen, the owner of a local accounting firm, for twenty years. They have two children, Jackson and Ella. The family attends Central United Methodist Church, where Jennifer serves on the finance committee and church council.
"River Bank & Trust's local decision-making and people-focused culture made my decision to join this team an easy one," says Self. "I look forward to extending the bank's brand of hospitality, personal attention, and community involvement to friends, neighbors, and businesses in Morgan County and beyond. Clients can reach me at 256-318-3751."
