River Bank & Trust Arrives in Birmingham, Alabama, Hires Brian Ethridge

Birmingham, Alabama, June 6, 2022: Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Stubbs is pleased to announce that River Bank & Trust will open in Birmingham, establishing the Alabama-based bank's 21st location. The office will be located in the Park South Plaza Shopping Center on Highway 31 across from Mark's Outdoors. Brian Ethridge, a veteran banker of the Birmingham area, will serve as regional president and join the bank's executive management team.

"I am thrilled to lead River Bank & Trust into Birmingham," says Ethridge. "Soon, an impressive team of experienced local bankers will join me to deliver the bank's personal attention, hospitality, and local decision making to consumers and businesses throughout the region."

Ethridge, a University of Montevallo graduate, is a community leader. He serves as chairman of the Hoover Industrial Development Board, trustee of the Nature Conservancy of Alabama, and board member of the University of Montevallo Foundation. He and his wife, Melissa, attend Hunter Street Baptist Church and have three children, John, Laura, and Maggie.
