River Bank & Trust Arrives in Florence, Enlists Top Local Talent
Florence, Alabama, May 30, 2023: North Alabama Region President Ashton Dement is pleased to announce that River Bank & Trust has opened a loan and deposit production office in Florence at 401 E Tennessee Street. Founded in 2006, River Bank & Trust is one of Alabama's largest community banks, with 23 locations statewide, including Huntsville and Decatur.
Local banker Jeffrey Jones will serve as Shoals Market President. Jones earned a marketing and finance degree from the University of North Alabama. Later, he graduated from the Alabama Banking School and the Alabama Bankers Association Executive Leadership Program. A dedicated member of the Florence community, Jones is a board member of the Florence Housing Authority, Florence Education Foundation, Florence Industrial Development, and Riverhill School. Jones is joined by Christi Dorrance, who will serve as Customer Service Officer & Lending Assistant. With eleven years of experience, she'll assist clients with their loan and deposit servicing needs.

Ben Alexander, a lifelong resident of Florence, will serve as Vice President & Mortgage Lender. He will provide home financing assistance to clients throughout Florence and the surrounding area. Alexander earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Concordia University of Portland. Later, he graduated from the Alabama Banking School. Alexander currently serves as a board member for the University of North Alabama's Lions Athletic Club.
