Gadsden, Alabama: Wilbur "Bubba" Masters joins River Bank & Trust as Senior Vice President / Relationship Manager

Etowah County President Jeff Allen is pleased to announce that Wilbur "Bubba" Masters has joined River Bank & Trust as Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager.  With a solid background in consumer and commercial banking, Bubba has spent his 40-year career providing individuals and businesses with trusted financial guidance and supporting local civic and nonprofit organizations through leadership and volunteerism.

"Bubba's extensive financial expertise and in-depth knowledge of the local market will enhance the value we provide our customers," says Allen. "We are proud to welcome him to our team, where he will build and strengthen relationships with neighbors and businesses in the Etowah County community."

A lifelong resident of Gadsden, Bubba graduated from Westminster Christian School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Alabama and a graduate degree in banking from the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. The Gadsden Etowah Chamber's chairman-elect serves as an advisory board member of the Gadsden Regional Medical Center and a board member of the Salvation Army. He is a past president of the University of Alabama National Alumni association and a past board member of the United Way of Etowah County, Gadsden Commercial Development Authority, Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation, Gadsden Etowah Industrial Development Authority, and Gadsden Rotary Club. Bubba and his wife, Deborah, attend First United Methodist Church of Gadsden.
