River Bank & Trust Coming to Tuscaloosa with Jill Slaton as Market President

Tuscaloosa, AL, August 25, 2025: Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Stubbs is pleased to announce that River Bank & Trust is coming to Tuscaloosa, hiring local banker Jill Slaton to serve as Tuscaloosa Market President.

Slaton, a lifelong resident of the Tuscaloosa area, brings 25 years of banking experience to the role. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Commerce & Business Administration from the University of Alabama, concentrating in Finance and Banking, and is set to graduate next year from the Alabama Bankers Association Bank Executive Leadership Program. She serves on the boards of Patti’s Pantry and Walker Elementary’s PTSO, and supports Junior Achievement, United Way of West Alabama, and Habitat for Humanity. Slaton is also a member of the Alabama Bankers Association B2L Board and a graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa. She and her husband, Casey, have two children, Jessie and Jack, and attend Five Points Baptist Church.
