River Bank & Trust Welcomes Ty Herron as Assistant Vice President & Mortgage Loan Officer

Tuscaloosa, AL, December 16, 2025: Tuscaloosa Market President Jill Slaton is pleased to announce that Ty Herron has joined River Bank & Trust as Assistant Vice President & Mortgage Loan Officer. Led by Secondary Mortgage Manager Tara Hickey, Herron will serve clients in Tuscaloosa and the surrounding area with their home financing needs.

A graduate of Lamar County High School, Herron earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama, double-majoring in Accounting and Finance. Herron has served in roles ranging from mortgage processing to mortgage loan origination, helping clients with purchase, construction, and home equity financing. Herron and his wife, Jordan, live in Gordo with their daughter, Hazel. The family attends New Salem Baptist Church in Reform.
