Barry Harp Joins River Bank & Trust in Wetumpka
Wetumpka, AL, April 7, 2026: Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Stubbs is pleased to announce that Barry Harp has joined River Bank & Trust as Vice President & Relationship Manager in Wetumpka. Harp will serve consumer and commercial clients across the River Region, helping them reach their financial goals.

Harp has more than 20 years of banking experience, with a background in leadership, lending, audit, compliance, and business operations. He earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University at Montgomery and his master’s degree from Troy University Montgomery. He is a graduate of the Alabama Banking School and is currently enrolled in its Bankers 2 Leaders program.
Harp is actively involved in the community, serving as a board member for the Wright Flyers, president of Medical Outreach Ministries, and president of the Wetumpka High School Basketball Booster Club. He also volunteers with Meals on Wheels and the River Region United Way. A Montgomery native, Harp now resides in Wetumpka. He has two children, Lauren Grace, a senior at Auburn University, and Whitt, a junior at Wetumpka High School. The family attends Church of the Highlands, Montgomery Campus.
