Montgomery’s Polly Hardegree Transitions to New Role at River Bank & Trust
Montgomery, AL, June 2, 2025: Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Stubbs has announced that Polly Hardegree will transition from her role as Montgomery County President of River Bank & Trust to work part-time, continuing as an Executive Vice President with a focus on client engagement.
With a 20-year tenure at the bank and a career that spans over 50 years, Hardegree has played an integral role in establishing the bank's presence in Montgomery and the River Region. In her new role, she will serve existing customers, oversee special client events, and develop business opportunities.
"Polly's dedication to building relationships and delivering exceptional customer care has created a lasting impact on River Bank & Trust's culture," says Stubbs. "As our first hire in 2005, she helped lay the foundation for who we are today, and we're grateful for the leadership and insight she will continue to provide."
Throughout her life and career, Hardegree has been devoted to her community, serving numerous civic and charitable organizations. She is a past president and board member of Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Capital City Club, Baptist Healthcare Foundation, Hospice of Montgomery, Montgomery Area Council on Aging, National Kidney Foundation, and American Heart Association. Hardegree has been married to Don Hardegree for 56 years. They are members of St. James United Methodist Church and have one son, Jason, and two grandsons, Parker and Connor.
